A JOURNEY YEARS IN THE MAKING
My Story
I've spent much of my life hiding. Not just my body, but my insecurities, fears and the parts of myself I didn't think were good enough.
This is the story of how those beliefs developed, how they've affected my life and why I'm finally choosing to face them rather than avoid them.

LOOKING AT MYSELF
What was I actually seeing?
I took a photograph of myself because I wanted to see what somebody else might see. I was looking for confirmation of things I already disliked about my appearance.
But a photograph can't tell me what someone else thinks. It can only show me another perspective, one I was still interpreting through my own insecurities.
That's part of what this project explores: how I see myself, how others see me, and how I choose to process those opinions.
“I'm not here because I've conquered my insecurities.
I'm here because I've decided to challenge them.”
